Personal Data Processing Notice
In accordance with Article 13(1) and (2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons regarding the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR), we hereby inform you that:
The Data Controller is Cracow University of Technology, located at 24 Warszawska Street, 31-155 Kraków, Poland, represented by the Rector.
The University has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) – Mr. Tomasz Jaguś. You may contact the DPO in all matters related to the processing of personal data at the University:

Personal data of participants will be processed for the purposes of organizing and promoting the conference, as well as for informational, organizational, and promotional purposes related to other events organized by the Cracow University of Technology.
The legal basis for data processing is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, i.e., the consent of the data subject.
Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary to register and participate in the conference. Consent to receive information about other events organized by the University is entirely voluntary.
Personal data will not be transferred to third countries or shared with external entities.
They will be stored for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of processing or until consent is withdrawn.
The data subject has the right to access their data, rectify, erase, restrict processing, transfer data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
If the processing of data violates applicable law, the data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
Personal data will not be processed in an automated manner or subject to profiling.
