Professor LANOUE Arnaud
Professor LANOUE Arnaud
Dr. Arnaud Lanoue is Associate Professor (Habilitation) at the University of Tours (France), working at the Laboratory of Biomolecules and Plant Biotechnologies, where he also oversees the analytical platform. Specializing in phytochemical analysis and plant-derived bioactive compounds, he has co-authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications (h-index 32) with over 4,000 citations. His research combines advanced analytical chemistry and multivariate statistical approaches to characterize and screen plant biomass metabotypes derived from natural resources and biotechnological processes. He coordinates research projects dedicated to the valorization of biomolecules from agricultural biomass, particularly grape woods, and uses multivariate tools to establish links between genotypic and environmental metabolomic variations and differences in the biological activities of extracts. His work supports the sustainable valorization of plant natural products and complex extracts for applications in plant protection, human health, and cosmetics. He also teaches medicinal mycology at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Tours.
